Dirk was deeply involved in the launch of the first spin-off of OCAS, SteelThermhex (now Elytra), from the start of the co-operation between all stakeholders. He fulfilled the role of project coordinator for different work streams and took care of the integration in the business plan. Dirk also conducted the commercial feasibility study including the start-up of the different co-engineering projects with prospective customers and development of relationship with key customers.
