Dirk De Boever holds a M.Sc. in Applied Economics, a master-after-master in international B2B marketing and an executive MBA from the Vlerick school.
Dirk started his career at in the new commercial organization of the flat carbon steel division of the Arbed Group (now ArcelorMittal) in market research. Over the years he took on responsibility for strategic marketing, feasibility and investment studies, business planning and support of group management in M&A transactions and also served as quality auditor.
Dirk left the Arbed Group in 2002 to join a The Knowledge Management Company (tkmc), a marketing and business intelligence boutique as managing partner and shareholder. He still holds that position today. TKMC serves large companies in telecom, energy, fmcg and industry. In 2006, Dirk supported OCAS with the incorporation of its first spin-off elytra.
In 2008, Dirk joined OCAS Ventures as managing partner with responsibilities to build and manage a portfolio of innovative and material related companies.
